Synchronicity

Where there is no vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18

This is a diptych made by Ken of Photokenesis, a fascinating, unique photoblog you should check out if you haven’t already. On the same day I posted the shot on the left, from my Rose Johnson blog post, Ken took his photo on the right, two thousand miles away, not having seen my blog yet that day. Pretty synchronistic, huh? Especially since it happened again recently with some similar blue door posts. Freaky!

Ken has a Phoenix connection since he used to live here and I have a connection to Chicago, where Ken lives and photographs now, as that is where my father and his family came from and where I still have cousins I visit yearly (and I was born in Rockford, IL, about 90 miles from Chicago so I spent a lot of time there when young).

It’s fun when strange things happen in the blog world.

  1. Thanks for the shout out, Candace!

I linked it to my FB page! And I like the fact that the picture is of two hands shaking, like us, two friends “touching” across the miles!
    Have a great day/night/sunrise/sunset!
