After we visited the Monarch exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden, we continued to walk through more of the beautiful garden. I love those times when one day yields enough photos for multiple blogposts. (Click photos for more detail.)
Who might live in here?
The DBG is celebrating its 75th anniversary. With over 140 acres, many trails, and frequent special events, it is a busy place but not overly crowded, fortunately.
A lot of birds live in the cacti.
These footprints didn’t look as though they were planned but it added a nice touch.
It’s certainly not true that the desert is a drab, colorless place.
And the sunlight makes everything glow.
More flora and fauna from the DBG to come…
