Happy Holidays from the Horses

Happy Holidays from the gargoyle horses at Water Mark in Scottsdale!

I’ve blogged about these horses, part of a flood control system, before, where you can see a video of them spouting water during a rain storm.

I see them everyday driving to and from work. This time of year the 5 horses all sport festive, whimsical wreaths so I stopped and walked down the bike/walking path to get their photos on my way home the other day.

Each horses’ hooves and ears are in slightly different positions.

They’re all ready for Christmas, are you? I’m sure not…

  1. Candace, these are really striking! I would love to see them during a rain storm….must be quite a sight. I have to tell you the wreath clad horses and palm trees win the prize for the most unusual juxtaposition!
    Happy week to you 🙂

  2. They are such an interesting novelty. I’m glad their Christmas decoration shows good taste. Excellent series for us to grasp the extent and variety of the horses.
